Salvagnini Automated Panel Folder

Quincy Metal Fabricators’ Salvagnini P4 automated panel folder is an incredible piece of machinery in our fabrication lineup.  It’s able to fold 104″ of 14 Ga mild steel, with a fold depth of up to 5″.  While not quite as capable as a stand alone press brake, it makes up for it in speed as it’s able to fold pieces approximately three times faster.  Two sets of tooling allow for up and down (positive and negative) folds, and an articulating arm rotates and positions the material for each fold.  The tooling is automatically added or removed for interior folds of different lengths, removing even more operator input.
